Drinking water involves all issues
BlueServ recognized years ago, that given the Flint crisis and lead service pipe replacement initiatives, we understand that few people are greater advocates for clean water than those who have suffered under long-term contamination. While infrastructure and advanced technology are critical, a skilled, driven workforce committed to operate and maintain those systems are vital. To that end, BlueServ’s programs are designed to respond to the natural interest in water and environmental issues.
“Collaborating to overcome barriers”
We begin with understanding our local communities needs and adapt and design the delivery of our programs meeting that unique community circumstance. Utilizing
Organizational Design principals is critical for program success and leads to strong partnership and lasting results.
Our training incorporates environmental water projects. Project-based training provides a way to apply new knowledge and skills out on the water. Students will have real world opportunity to address rivers, lakes and stream projects and learn basic and intermediate projects that have real impact on their local communities. The long-term
goals of the community inform and guide which project is carried out. A project completed for a community, by residents of that community, can provide invaluable
experience and increased confidence through the process.
Certified educators at BlueServ have developed comprehensive programs that create opportunities for students to strengthen their relationship with the environment and foster a love of education and water science.
